Anna Paquin was born on July 24,1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and is currently 29 years old. Anna Paquin is a canadian actress who is widely known for starring as Sookie Stackhouse on the hit HBO television show TrueBlood. She grew up in New Zealand after moving from Canada at the age of 4. At the age of 11 Anna already won an oscar for best supporting actress for her performance in Jane Campion's film The Piano in 1993, Anna was the second youngest child to win an oscar in the world. She then moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and starred in two films, Jane Eyre and Fly Away Home both in 1996. But her career slowed down in her teen years so she appeared in much smaller roles after 2000 like Rogue from the hit superhero movie X-Men, and her TV appearences were Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) and The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler (2009) as well as her most famous show which is in season 5 right now is TrueBlood where she is the leading role who is a telepath who hangs out with vampires in the smash hit show. She is the child of Mary and Brian Paquin where Mary Paquin was an english teacher and Brian Paquin was a physical education teacher. Anna Paquin right now resides in Venice, Los Angeles with her husband and co-star in TrueBlood Stephen Moyer who is Bill Compton in the show. Stephen and Anna are expecting a baby in he fall of 2012. Anna also admitted at a True Colors Fund that she is bi-sexual but she still loves Stephen and is still currently married to him with two step kids. She has two cats and one dog as well.
